This weekend was a perfect time to mess around with a new Turkey Burger recipe. What better place to grill some yummy burgers than at the lake! This is a crowd pleaser and you won't be the least bit disappointed with how they turn out!
Ingredients (makes 8 burgers):
2lbs of ground lean turkey
1 packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
3/4 cup Bread Crumbs
1 Tbsp Garlic Salt
1 Tbsp Red Pepper
1 Sweet Onion
Mix everything together besides the Mozzarella Cheese!
Take a portion of the meat and make a round burger patty
Stuff the patty with cheese and make sure the cheese is enclosed so none leaks out!
Grill or cook on a pan!
I topped mine with caramelized onions, mushrooms, and brie (to caramelize the onions cook with oil for 10 min on medium/high heat, then add 1 tbsp brown sugar and let them continue to cook for 20 min, stir occasionally to avoid burning them)
