Tuna Patties

Canned Tuna is inexpensive and packed with protein. Each serving contains less than 1 gram of fat and only about 100 calories. It also has good sources of iron and potassium. Great on their own or on a bun, these are perfect for lunch or dinner! Did I mention they're also gluten free or paleo!? Try them out!

Ingredients:

  • 1 12 oz can Tuna

  • 1 Egg

  • 1/2 cup Gluten Free Breadcrumbs (you can also use almond flour to make this paleo!)

  • 1/4 cup chopped Green Onion

  • 1/3 cup chopped Red Onion

  • 1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard

  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice

  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder

  • Salt and Pepper

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl combine all ingredients

  2. Shape mixture into 5 patties

  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat

  4. Place patties in pan and cook 3-4 min each side or until brown and crispy

  5. Serve!

**I topped mine with plain greek yogurt and hot sauce!**
